Colpoys Ski Trail Report – October 2018 | Bruce Ski Club

by Martin Kerr

It’s that time of year, the days getting shorter, nights longer and temperatures dropping. Ski season can’t be too far away!

There are a few changes happening at the Colpoys trail this year and hopefully all for the better. A new trail captain and a new groomer are on board for this year. Richard Bonert who has spent years as the captain at the Red Bay trail will be taking over the controls at Colpoys and Neil Sim who has been grooming at Sawmill will be doing most of the grooming. I will be helping them both in this transition year to get things underway and operating smoothly.

We invite you all to come out for a morning on the trail to do some clipping and clearing on Sunday, November 4th at 9 am. We are usually done by noon and it’s a good way to both give back and to meet other skiers in the club. See you there!
